A young fashion designer who is launching new celebrity clothing line is a registered sex offender.

Makram “Mak” Hamd, 28, has won fame for the high-profile work with NFL star Richard Sherman and Dennis Graham, father of the rapper Drake.

But just as the new clothing lines are about to debut, Hamd was checking in with the criminal justice system – as a condition of his lifelong sex offender registration.

The Seattle Seahawks star didn’t know of Hamd’s 2007 conviction of two counts of criminal sexual conduct for fondling a 9 year-old-boy at a family friend’s home.
