The set of “Fox & Friends” took a moment for some media criticism on Monday morning, blasting a New York Times photographer for publishing what they said was an “awkward” photo of the president during his trip to Vietnam.
Specifically, they were talking about this photo, which was tweeted over the weekend by Times photographer Doug Mills.

Co-host Ainsley Earhardt was aggrieved, saying that a fuller video of the moment showed that Trump was smiling for most of the interaction.
“Do you see that face?” she said. “I watched the video earlier and didn’t even notice that … they snapped the photo when he was making that interesting awkward face.”
