On Tuesday’s episode of “The View,” the panel discussed Monday’s revelations that Trump thought he could have made a deal to prevent the Civil War had he been president at the time, as would have Andrew Jackson.
Joy Behar insisted that this would have meant upholding slavery in the south.
“What that means is that Trump would have said, ‘Leave slavery to the states!’ But Abraham Lincoln said, ‘No! We’re not doing that.’”
