Singer Justin Bieber apparently isn’t aware of how the game of hockey is played, and had a wild overreaction Monday night during a Los Angeles beer league game.
Bieber was skating down the ice when a defender made a beautiful defensive stop, which resulted in the Canadian-born singer’s stick being broken in half.
The video captured by TMZ Sports shows Bieber attempting to square up a defender who looks to have several inches on the pop singer. Refs quickly rushed in before a fight broke out between Bieber and anybody on the opposing team, according to TMZ Sports.
Absolutely laughable reaction from Bieber. That was a clean play and a great defensive stop. There is nothing dirty about going after the stick of the offensive player. Don’t step onto the ice unless you’re ready to take some shots and take a few hits.
