Kim Kardashian Hires Ex-Israeli Soldier, Anti-Terrorism Expert as Bodyguard

After beingrobbed at gunpoint in a Paris hotel room, reality star Kim Kardashian has reportedly hired a counter-terror expert and ex-Israeli soldier who impersonated an Arab to be her security guard.

An Israeli-American born in Canada, Aaron Cohen left Israel for Los Angeles when he was two years old but returned to Israel 15 years later, Ynet news reported. After spending time on a kibbutz, Aaron was drafted into the IDF’s prestigious Duvdevan unit in which he served as a mistarev – the name given to undercover agents posing as Arabs.

Cohen returned to the U.S. after being released from the army and opened a security company catering to celebrities. Among his list of clients are Katy Perry, Brad Pitt and Arnold Schwarzenegger. He also became a consultant in counter-terrorism.

Earlier this month, armed robbers disguised as police officers accosted Kim Kardashian in her hotel room, bound and gagged her, and locked her in the bathroom before making off with more than $10 million in jewelry.
