Attorney Frank D’Amico, Jr. sued the NFL on Tuesday over the Saints losing to the Rams in the NFL championship Sunday.
According to WDSU reporter Travers Mackel, D’Amico sued in Civil District Court for Orleans Parish because of the blown no-call on a blatant pass interference that arguably allowed the Rams to win the game.
Update: The first of what is expected to be many lawsuits filed against the @NFL over the #SaintsGotRobbed blown call will be filed Tuesday by #Nola attorney Frank D’Amico, who goes by ‘The Strong Arm’ - D’Amico made the announcement in a news release. You can watch the now infamous play below. You’ll immediately understand why Saints fans are so outraged.
There wasn't a flag thrown on this play. The NFL should be embarrassed. pic.twitter.com/qL2dTyonEb— David Hookstead (@dhookstead) January 20, 2019
This is becoming a PR disaster for the NFL. It will be interesting to see if a judge agrees with the attorney or the NFL.
This is incredible on all fronts, and it’s quickly becoming the most fascinating story in recent NFL memory. As Clay Travis pointed out, it is going to be a circus of epic proportions if a New Orleans-based judge requires the game to be played out from the blown call and Goodell has to try to appeal.
