Matt Lauer Just Signed an Unbelievably High-Paying Contract

Despite speculation that he might leave the “Today” show after the presidential election was over, the morning show host has signed a two-year contract and will make $20 million a year, Page Six reported Wednesday.

It is the same contract Lauer signed in 2014 — two years for $20 million.

Lauer was recently criticized after he moderated the Commander-in-Chief Forum between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in September.

Though Trump thought Lauer “did a fantastic job,” Clinton later attacked him in a fundraising email.
