“He’s gone through a transformation,” Davis said. "He did a lot of things to defend Donald Trump that he now regrets. He’s a new person when he first called me he told me that he was changing his life and now telling the truth about Donald Trump and that’s why he wanted me to help him.”
At one point, Davis pleaded with the audience to donate to Cohen's online fund, michaelcohentruth.com. Judging by their reaction, they were not interested. (the mockery begins at the 7:29 mark)
“Can I just take the opportunity to remind everyone that Michael Cohen has suffered a tragic and difficult experience with his family, he’s without resources, and we’ve set up a website called MichaelCohenTruth.com that we’re hoping that he will get some help from the American people so that we can continue to tell the truth."
The audience erupted in laughter.
Lanny Davis, on Fox News earlier, asked people to donate at https://t.co/ooNHda36Nq. Seems like someone else, though, purchased that domain and re-directed it to Trump's campaign site...
