Melania Trump’s Surprising Celebrity Pen Pal

Pamela Anderson thanked Melania Trump for the “sweet” note she sent after the former “Baywatch” star gave the first lady a faux fur coat.

“Dear Melania, Thank you for your sweet note,” the former “Baywatch” star tweeted Wednesday. “It is heartwarming to see you manage your position with such beauty and grace.”

“I very much appreciate you sending the beautiful eco-faux fur from Only me. I am very grateful for your support and encouraging words; they mean a great deal,” Trump wrote in the letter shared by Anderson. “Together, we can empower more women to stand up for their beliefs.”

In February, the actress sent Trump the coat to thank her for choosing not to wear real fur at President Donald Trump’s inauguration, according to the Washington Examiner.

“Amid all the mania at the inauguration, you looked stunning in an outfit by Ralph Lauren–one of many fur-free designers,” Anderson wrote in a letter to the first lady. “I am so happy that you chose not to wear fur! As first lady, you will help set style trends, and by remaining compassionate with your choices, you will warm the hearts of many.”
