Michael Moore said Democrats do a “disservice to themselves” if they put all the fault for Hillary Clinton’s stunning loss at the feet of F.B.I. Director James Comey.
During an interview on “CNN Tonight with Don Lemon” on Thursday, the 62-year-old filmmaker dropped a reality check on Democrats who he said refuse to see why Clinton lost beyond Comey’s announcement two weeks before the election about reopening the investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server during her time as secretary of state.
“I think that Democrats are doing themselves a disservice if they just focus on the Comey thing and not on all the other reasons this happened,” Moore said. “It’s disgraceful–if I can use a Donald Trump word–that twice in sixteen years the Democrats have won the popular vote and somehow lost the electoral college. That they would let this happen again.”
