Omarosa Makes Another Startling Trump Claim

Omarosa Manigault-Newman, former Trump staffer and ‘Apprentice’ star, keeps revealing more about her time working for the president — and her latest claims are especially startling.

The Wrap reports:

Former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault-Newman says she was offered a whopping $15,000 a month if she promised to keep quiet about her time at the White House, according to The Washington Post.

The Post cited excerpts from Manigault-Newman upcoming tell-all, ” “Unhinged: An Insider Account of the Trump White House,” due for release on Aug. 14.

According to Manigault-Newman’s book, she received a call from Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, offering her a job and the lucrative contract in exchange for her silence. The offer came with a nondisclosure agreement, which stipulated that she could not comment about “President Trump or his family; Vice President Pence or his family; or any comments that could damage the president,” according to the Post. It also said she would do “diversity outreach,” for the Trump campaign.

“The NDA attached to the email was as harsh and restrictive as any I’d seen in all my years of television,” Manigault-Newman wrote in the excerpt, according to the Post.

Neither the Trump campaign nor the White House immediately responded to a request for comment. Earlier on Friday, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders issued a statement saying the book was “riddled with lies and false accusations.”
