Report: Sylvester Stallone Will Not Take Job in Trump Administration

Sylvester Stallone was “flattered” for potentially being considered for a role in Donald Trump’s administration, but plans to focus his attention on veterans.

The president-elect was reportedly considering Stallone for a position as chair to the National Endowment of the Arts. “No decision has been made here yet,” an RNC representative told Fox News Friday. “They are old friends and the president-elect thinks very highly of him, but no decisions have been made regarding this position.”

Stallone responded to the rumors of his consideration in a statement Sunday.

“I am incredibly flattered to have been suggested to be involved with the National Endowment of the Arts,” Stallone said. “However I believe I could be more effective by bringing national attention to returning military personnel in an effort to find gainful employment, suitable housing and financial assistance these heroes respectfully deserve.”
