Sting’s first pop/rock project in over a decade, “57th & 9th,” takes its title from the street corner he passed each day to walk to his Hell’s Kitchen studio.
When the album was released Friday, Sting visited the spot again to surprise diners at the Morning Star restaurant by signing autographs, taking photos and treating customers there to lunch.
He also performed on “Today.”
