A new report claims that Tamron Hall is considering joining ABC as a cohost for “Live with Kelly.”
According to Page Six, the president of Investigation Discovery Henry Schleiff was overheard encouraging the former NBC News anchor to join the network as the two dined together this week.
“He was encouraging her to join Kelly,” a spy told the publication. “He said, ‘Throw your hat in the ring! Lighten things up.’”
Hall abruptly left NBC News last week.
“Tamron was offered a multiyear, multimillion-dollar deal to stay at the ‘Today’ show and she turned it down,” a source told Page Six. “People inside NBC were shocked. They expected her to stay.”
