When children come knocking on your door hollering ‘trick or treat’, it turns out there is an ingenious way to provide them with both.
UK-based photographer and technology writer Mark Sparrow shared the idea of handing out Brussels sprouts dipped in chocolate on Twitter, and the idea caught on like wildfire.
His tip was retweeted 6,800 times and liked 8,500 with many declaring him an evil genius.
However, not everyone saw the funny side and the writer was told he deserved to have his house egged, and was even accused of being racist.
It all started with a photo of what looked like a tasty chocolate alongside the sweet cut in half to reveal its vegetable interior.
