This Show is Still Beating Megyn Kelly

Dr. Phil was the top talker in the session ending Oct. 1. Phil scored a 3.4 live-plus-same-day national Nielsen rating, its highest in 21 weeks, and was the only one of the 15 talk shows moving up, leading the talkers by a wide margin for the 56th consecutive frame.

Ellen DeGeneres, at a 2.2, and Live with Kelly and Ryan, at a 2.1, were next in line. However, Kelly and Ryan topped the highly promoted opening week of Megyn Kelly Today by a daily average of more than 300,000 viewers —2.85 million to 2.51 million.

In terms of ratings, Kelly and Ryan was 17% higher as Megyn posted a 1.8 compared to a 2.1 for its principal rival, according to Nielsen’s national stats. The two compete head to head in the largest markets.
