Trump to Celebs, Participants at Women’s March: Why Didn’t You Vote?

President Donald Trump responded to the Women’s marches around the world where millions of people including celebrities protested his presidency.

Trump tweeted early Sunday morning: “Watched protests yesterday but was under the impression that we just had an election! Why didn’t these people vote? Celebs hurt cause badly.”

He also added in a second tweet: “Peaceful protests are a hallmark of our democracy. Even if I don’t always agree, I recognize the rights of people to express their views.”

More than one million people participated in women’s marches around the globe on the day after Trump’s inauguration in locations including Washington D.C., Park City, Utah (Sundance Film Festival), New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Budapest and Mexico.
