A toddler saved his twin brother after a dresser fell on top of him — and the miraculous moment was all caught on camera!
Ricky Shoff shared nursery footage of his 2-year-old sons climbing onto a heavy set dresser before the large piece falls, trapping one tot underneath it.
As the helpless boy Brock cries from under the dresser, his pajama-wearing brother Bowdy tries to work out a way to save him. After multiple attempts at moving the heavy piece, the youngster somehow manages to get enough strength to push the dresser off his twin and release him — but not before briefly climbing on the furniture and crushing him further. (After all, isn't that what siblings are for?)
The boys' parents were unsure about sharing the video at first, but thought it would serve as a caution to parents to bolt down their children's furniture.
In a Facebook post, the Utah-based father wrote:
"I've been a little hesitant to post this. But I feel it's not only to bring awareness, but it is also incredible. We are so grateful for the bond that these twin brothers share. We know Bowdy was not alone in moving the dresser off of Brock. And feel blessed that he is ok. Please make sure all your dressers are bolted and secured to the wall. Please share."
