If you're wondering where Steve Bannon might land, you can cross off Fox News from your list. Speculation over the former White House chief strategist's next career move ramped up following his sudden exit from Breitbart News on Tuesday.
"Fox News will not be hiring Steve Bannon," a network spokesperson said in a statement to cleveland.com.
Bannon returned to his position as executive chairman at Breitbart in August after a seven-month stint in the Trump administration, but was forced out in the fallout from "Fire and Fury," Michael Wolff's tell-all book about the Trump White House.
"Steve is a valued part of our legacy, and we will always be grateful for his contributions, and what he has helped us to accomplish," Breitbart CEO Larry Solov said in a statement posted on the conservative news outlet's website.
