Anti-Trump Actor’s New Show Flops

Alec Baldwin has made a lot of headlines lately due to his attacks on President Trump and his portrayal of the President on ‘SNL.’ Now he is making it because his new talk show has flopped.

According to The Daily Wire:

Black people may “love” Alec Baldwin, but it turns out TV watchers don’t.

Baldwin, who plays President Trump on “Saturday Night Live,” has a new show on ABC that debuted last Sunday. It did not go well — even though he had actor Robert De Niro on for what turned into a nonstop Trump-bashing fest.

“According to Nielsen, the premiere of ‘The Alec Baldwin Show’ on ABC garnered just a 0.4 rating among adults 18-49, the demographic most coveted by advertisers. The Baldwin-hosted chatfest was the lowest-rated program in the demo of any broadcast network — including the CW,” Fox News reported.

“By comparison, NBC’s ‘Sunday Night Football’ matchup between the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs earned a 6.1 rating among adults 18-49, CBS’ ’60 Minutes’ — which featured an interview with the president — drew a 1.9 rating and the CW premieres of ‘Supergirl’ and the reboot of ‘Charmed each drew a 0.5 rating,” Fox said.

It seems like his anti-Trump angle is not helping in the rating department. But maybe he should have asked CNN about that.
