Body Of WWE Star Shad Gaspard Discovered Washed Ashore On Venice Beach

The body of WWE star Shad Gaspard has now been found washed ashore in Venice Beach California after he was pulled out to sea and drown by a riptide while swimming with his son.

As The New York Post reports:

The body of WWE star Shad Gaspard — who was swept out to sea by a riptide over the weekend — was found washed up on Venice Beach early Wednesday, officials confirmed.

Video taken at the scene early Wednesday shows authorities from the Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department surrounding a lifeless body.

The coroner and a woman resembling Gaspard’s wife, Siliana Gaspard, were also seen leaving the location.

The LA County Coroner’s Office later confirmed to NBC Los Angeles that the body was Gaspard.

Witnesses reported that Gaspard commanded lifeguards to first save his son before he was swept away by a wave.
