President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin held their first official meeting on Friday, and many celebrities are now reacting on Twitter to the encounter. See Hollywood stars’ tweets below.
The two heads of state met face-to-face for the first time at the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, where many world leaders have gathered to discuss strengthening the global economy and foreign relations. Of course, all eyes were on Trump and Putin’s first sit-down due to the speculation that Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. “President Putin and I have been discussing various things and I think it is going very well,” Trump told reporters before his private conversation with the Russian leader. “We have had some very, very good talks.”
