Celebs Try to Promote Pro-Immigration Ideals With Music Video

Celebrities are at it again, this time with a new music video titled, “Immigrants (We Get The Job Done)” that is very pro-immigration.

“Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda shared the track Wednesday on NBC’s “Today Show” and posted it on YouTube from his “Hamilton Mixtape” collection that uses a variety of images to push the pro-immigration agenda in the U.S., according to Variety.

Hamilton’s Daveed Diggs appears alongside rappers Knaan, Residente, Riz MC and Snow Tha Product in the six-minute long video that shows shots of immigrants working as farm laborers and in sweat shops, along with clips of people coming through parts of a torn fence.

The title was inspired from a song from the popular Broadway play, “Yorktown.”
