Actress Amanda Detmer, one of the stars of the hit Fox show ‘Empire,’ was arrested over the weekend for allegedly driving under the influence.
As The New York Post reports:
The 48-year-old was charged with DUI and hit and run, property damage, according to Chico, Calif. police records. She was arrested on Sunday at 5:51 p.m.
According to TMZ, Detmer allegedly crashed her car into a utility pole and left the scene. Cops later found her because of her vehicle’s front-end damage.
Detmer plays Tracy Kingsley on the Fox show “Empire” and is also known for her roles in “Drop Dead Gorgeous” and “You, Me and Dupree.”
This isn’t Detmer’s first brush with the law.
Detmer apparently has had numerous and consistent traffic violations going back to 1995.
