Fox News Host Cries While Talking About Trump

Fox News host Melissa Francis got very emotional during Wednesday’s airing of “Outnumbered” while trying to make sense of and defend President Donald Trump’s comments about the Charlottesville attack, which many condemned as racist.

Co-host Juan Williams compared the Charlottesville attack to the fight against the Nazis in World War II and said, “People who fought against World War II against Nazis in a U.S. uniform did not want to hear, ‘Both sides have something to say here.’”

Williams went on to call Trump’s comments “unbelievable,” and added that there is only “one side” when it comes to racist groups such as white supremacists, KKK members, and neo-Nazis. In an attempt to defend the president’s comments, Francis claimed that Trump never said that there was “equal blame” for both sides.

When confronted by co-host Marie Harf, who reminded Francis that Trump said that there were “very fine people” on both sides of the Charlottesville incident, Francis broke down.
