Here’s Who Will Play Megyn Kelly, Gretchen Carlson in Roger Ailes Movie

Two Hollywood superstars have been tapped to play Megyn Kelly and Gretchen Carlson in the upcoming film about Roger Ailes as he built Fox News.

A movie in the works about disgraced former Fox News chief Roger Ailes will star Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly and Nicole Kidman as Gretchen Carlson.

The news comes from Variety, which reports the film will be about the sexual harassment scandal that ended the Ailes’ 20-year career at Fox News in 2016. Margot Robbie (“I Tonya”) is in talks to play a Fox News producer, according to Deadline.

No word yet who will play Ailes, who died in 2017. Characters based on TV hosts Greta Van Susteren and Bill O’Reilly and media mogul Rupert Murdoch are expected to be in the film as well, the Hollywood Reporter notes.

The project boasts some heavy hitters behind the camera as well. Jay Roach (“Austin Powers”) is on board to direct a script by Charles Randolph (“The Big Short”).
