Hillary Clinton Makes Surprise Appearance at Grammys Just to Bash Trump

Hillary Clinton made a surprise appearance at the Grammys on Sunday when she appeared on video reading an excerpt from “Fire and Fury,” the controversial book about President Donald Trump, with musical artists. The cameo was well-received by the live audience, but it earned the ire of many outside the auditorium, including Nikki Haley, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.

The parody segment shows Grammys host James Corden holding auditions for next year’s Grammy for best spoken word album. Famous musicians, including Snoop Dogg, Cardi B, DJ Khaled, John Legend, and Cher “auditioned” for the role. They each took turns reading from “Fire and Fury.”

According to Corden, none of the auditions were Grammy-worthy, until he got to the last one: Hillary Clinton’s. At first, Clinton’s face was covered by the book as she began to read. When she lowered it, the crowd cheered. She read from a passage that truly meant to mock Trump, the section of the book about his love for McDonald’s.

“He had a longtime fear of being poisoned. One reason why he liked to eat at McDonald’s. No one knew he was coming and the food was safely pre-made,” Clinton read.
