Major Conservative Snubbed in Time Magazine List

Time Magazine named The Silence Breakers its Person of the Year for 2017.

“The reckoning appears to have sprung up overnight. But it has actually been simmering for years, decades, centuries,” Time’s Stephanie Zacharek, Eliana Dockterman and Haley Sweetland Edwards write in the magazine. “Women have had it with bosses and coworkers who not only cross boundaries but don’t even seem to know that boundaries exist.”

Actress Ashley Judd, former Uber engineer Susan Fowler, California state lobbyist Adama Iwu, popular singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, and strawberry farm worker Isabel Pascual are Silence Breakers included on the cover of the December 18 issue.

NBC Newser Megyn Kelly, Rose McGowan, Bex Bailey, Dana Lewis, #MeToo movement founder Tarana Burke, Alyssa Milano, Selma Blair were also interviewed for the issue. Two men were involved in the issue as well. Actor Terry Crews was interviewed, and director Blaise Godbe Lipman was featured in “Portraits.”
