After the Patriots first round playoff loss over the weekend rumors are now swirling concerning the future of the Patriots legendary 42-year-old  superstar quarterback Tom Brady, and now owner Robert Kraft has weighed in.

As The New York Post reports:

Robert Kraft has a suggestion for Tom Brady about his increasingly uncertain future in New England.

“My hope and prayer is number one, he play for the Patriots. Or number two, he retires,” the Patriots owner told NBC Sports’ Peter King of his 42-year-old quarterback. “He has the freedom to decide what he wants to do and what’s in his own best personal interest.”...

Kraft maintains the quarterback has earned the right to write the next chapter of his story, wherever it may lead.

“Before the season started, it was very important to Tom that he be free to do whatever he wanted at the end of the year,” Kraft said. “You know what I said to myself? That any person who plays 20 years for this team and helps us get to six Super Bowls, and been really selfless, has earned that right.”

Brady has led The Patriots to six superbowl championships over his 20 year NFL career.
