Country singer Toby Keith will perform this weekend for a male-only crowd in Saudi Arabia during President Donald Trump’s visit there.
Keith is set to take the stage in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, as part of a star-studded weekend designed to impress Trump during his first overseas trip as president, according to the Associated Press.
The website advertising the concert stressed that it is a male-only performance with a strict formal dress code. The country adheres to a strict interpretation of the Islamic law, meaning there will be no alcohol allowed at the event.
The Washington Post reports said that the singer will not be traveling with Trump and that the White House was unaware the singer was going to be in the country at the same time.
