This Country Singer Says He Refuses to ‘Let Terrorism Win’

Country singer Brent Cobb plans to carry on with his performance in Manchester Tuesday night because he is refusing to let terrorism win after 22 people were killed in a bombing at an Ariana Grande concert the night before.

“While we do not want to be insensitive to your tragedy, we also refuse to let terrorism win,” Cobb said in a Facebook post. “Our hearts break for your loss and we will be there with you tonight to mourn and help heal.”

Cobb will be performing at The Deaf Institute, a venue that seats 300 and is located just 2 miles from the arena that Grande performed in Monday night, according to The Guardian.

The venue also confirmed that they planned to go on with the show, despite the deadly attack that the city of Manchester and the world is still reacting to.
