Rising country star, Taylor Dee, was struck dead after the car she was traveling in was involved in a roll over crash in her home state of Texas.

As People reports:

Born Taylor Dawn Carroll, Dee died on March 14 after a rollover car crash on State Highway 183 near in Euless, Texas, PEOPLE can confirm.

The fatal incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. on the eastbound TEXpress lane near the 100 block of West Airport Freeway, according to a news release from the Euless City Police Department.

Investigators believe Dee was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer when she attempted to make an abrupt lane change and missed the turn, crashing into a cushion barrier…

Dee, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was “found outside the vehicle a short distance away in grave condition,” police said.

Dee was only 33 years-old at the time of her death.

Sorry! That’s the end of her career and life all because of refusing to use a 2″ nylon strap that’s proven to save your butt in most situations. For whatever reason doesn’t matter now.
Seatbelts do work! Wear Them! You can’t react fast enough in those situations. Good chance she would have made it if she had seatbelt on. Seatbelt keeps you in steel, glass armored egg (vehicle). It’s a lot tougher than your squishy body hitting anything inside or out side the car. You are the weakest link in the situation.
Your just a Humpty Dumpty and break easy. Where they may not be able to put you back together again as in this situation. I know several people who died or were crushed from NOT wearing seatbelts on tractors, forklifts. They would have been fine if they had just bothered to wear it. Please wear you seat belts. That “IT won’t happen to me” attitude is total BS. It CAN and DOES everyday. Stay Safe!
