Clint Eastwood Sues

Clint Eastwood is taking aim at CBD companies with two lawsuits for using his name and likeness to promote their product. Twenty CBD vendors have been named as defendants for promoting fake articles that claim the Gran Torino star is leaving showbiz to go into the marijuana derivative business.  

The ninety-year-old actor’s suit claims that the companies have been using social media and email campaigns to promote headlines naming Eastwood as an endorser of their products.  

Before using his likeness without authorization, the companies should have asked themselves one question: “Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?”

Martha Stewart Claps Back At Chelsea Handler

Martha Stewart clapped back at Chelsea Handler after the comedian recreated a sultry pool pic of Stewarts that went viral.

Stewart originally posted a pouty selfie in her East Hampton chlorine-free pool, promoting the concrete finish, but not mentioning anything about herself in the message.  

After the Instagram post went viral, Handler couldn’t resist imitating Stewart in her own pool and writing the caption: “If I look this good at 78 I better still have a pool to show myself off in.”

In true Martha Stewart fashion, the lifestyle mogul commented on the post in a manner that was unclear if she was complimenting, or shrewdly calling out Handler.

“I’m so happy that you liked my post well enough to emulate it.” Stewart wrote. Then came the digs, “I do think my pool is a little bit prettier than yours and that my facial expression is a little bit more relaxed.” 

She went on to say, “Continue with your comedy, your humor, and your amazing ability to gather around you political liberals.” 

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Weird Podcast Appearance

Gwyneth Paltrow went on the podcast Literally! With Rob Lowe and discussed how his wife, makeup artist Sheryl Berkoff taught her “how to give a blow job” when she visited a TV movie set that her mother, Blythe Danner, was working on as a teenager.  

Paltrow thought Berkoff, who was dating teenage Paltrow’s celebrity crush Keanu Reeves at the time, was the coolest because they would smoke cigarettes together behind the makeup trailer, and Berkoff treated her like an adult.  

She revealed to Lowe that though she doesn’t “remember the technique,” she surely used it the first chance she had.  

Charlemagne Tha God Slams Biden

Charlemagne Tha God, radio host of The Breakfast Club, went after Biden on his show Thursday for referring to President Donald Trump as the first racist president elected. 

The day prior, Biden stated eloquently as ever, “We’ve had racists and they’ve tried to get elected president. He’s the first one that has.”

The radio host called Biden out: “How the hell can Donald Trump be the first racist president in a country where 12 presidents before him owned slaves?” 

He also wished that Biden would shut up and “Continue to act like he’s starring in the movie ‘A Quiet Place’ because as soon as he opens his mouth to make noise, he gets us all killed.” 

In another dig, he addressed Biden directly: “Hurry up and announce your Black woman VP so I can be enthused about voting for her because I will never be enthused about voting for you.”

Tracy Morgan’s Wife Files For Divorce

Comedian Tracy Morgan’s wife filed for divorce after five years of marriage.  Megan Wollover, 33, wed Morgan, 51, in the summer of 2015 after a three year long engagement. More than a year before, the 30 Rock actor was hit by a Walmart truck in a limo accident that nearly took his life.  He credits his family for supporting him through his long recovery.  The couple shares a seven year old daughter, Maven Sonae.

MLB Kneels For Black Lives Matter

Everyone on the floor of the Pelicans’ game against the Jazz kneeled during the national anthem, including the coaches and refs. All the players sported Nike warm up shirts printed with “Black Lives Matter,” which was also prominently painted in black lettering on the court the took a knee on. 

Ellen DeGeneres Forced To Apologize Over Hostile Workplace Allegations

Ellen DeGeneres publicly apologized to her staff after a viral Buzzfeed article detailed the toxic work environment, including intimidation and racism, former production crew members experienced while on set of her talk show.  

The daytime host wrote: “On day one of our show, I told everyone in our first meeting that The Ellen DeGeneres Show would be a place of happiness – no one would ever raise their voice, and everyone would be treated with respect. Obviously, something changed, and I am disappointed to learn that this has not been the case. And for that, I am sorry.“
