HBO’s “Real Time” host Bill Maher, got real about being “over Covid,” following the lead of Dr. Anthony Fauci, and refusing to get his booster shot.
F“I’m over Covid,” Maher said in a recent interview. “I was never scared of it. I was always scared of the reaction to it, and as this has played out, that only proved to be more true for me. I’m sure many people feel different, but that’s me.”
When a reporter asked him if he thought “Dr. Fauci or the medical establishment” knew what they were doing, he responded, “They don’t know a lot about anything.”
“So, don’t sit there in your white coat and tell me, just do what we say. When have we ever been wrong?” Maher added. “A lot is my answer. A lot.”
“They drilled mercury into my teeth when I was a child,” he noted. “Now, of course, we don’t do that anymore, but do you really think in 50 years people will look back and say, oh, yeah, we had it all figured out in 2022? No, they will be appalled at things we’re doing right now.”
Maher also said that he refused to get his vaccine booster. “If they don’t prevent you from transmitting it and they don’t prevent you from getting it, why are we still treating this disease the way we always have?” He questioned. “And what the f–k is the use of a booster shot? Because I will never get a booster shot.”
He admitted that he “didn’t want the first vaccine” and stated that the booster is “not only useless,” but the vaccine itself is incredibly new.
“We should not treat people unfairly who want to allow their own immune system to take care of the situation,” he said in support of the unvaccinated. “But okay, I took one for the team.”
Maher read in The New York Times, “which is a very pro-vaccine publication,” that scientists and doctors in Israel are against the public getting a fourth round of booster shots, “because they said it might have a reverse effect, something called immune system fatigue.”
“Well, I don’t want that, do you? So, now you’re not protected by the vaccine or your immune system? I don’t think so,” Maher concluded.

Here we have a very left leaning liberal minded person who is rational enough to understand when Progressives are using him by preying on his core beliefs. I used to like watching Bill Maher long ago. Then he got way too politically leftist for my taste, and I simply stopped paying attention to him. Now, it seems as though Maher was either taking his Leftist attitude to extremes for entertainment purposes, or he has come to realize that where he was headed was very wrong for everyone. Either way, I pray that all liberal minded persons with such talent as Bill Maher has begun to be more rational about the way they perform in their working fields and the way they relate in public venues.
