‘Borat’ mocks Rudy Giuliani amid scandal of his making

Sasha Baron Cohen’s titular character Borat, came to the mocking defense of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, after he was set up in a stunt for the sequel.

In July, the former mayor believed he was participating in an interview at the Mark Hotel in NYC about the Trump administration’s coronavirus response, when Cohen, in character as Borat, burst into the hotel room wearing pink lingerie. Giuliani called the police and Cohen fled down the street.

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm was released Friday on Amazon Prime. The film features a scene where Giuliani goes into a hotel bedroom with a journalist, played by 24-year-old actress Maria Bakalova, who also portrays Borat’s 15-year-old daughter.

After fielding a few easy questions, the interview ends and Giuliani goes into a bedroom with Bakalova, presumably to remove their microphones. The former mayor sits down on the bed as Bakalova pulls up his shirt to remove his mic pack and wires, then he lays back to tuck his shirt in.

Borat bursts into the room exclaiming, “She’s 15, she’s too old for you.” Giuliani hops off the bed and is confronted with cross-dressing Cohen wearing women’s lingerie. Giuliani asks him “why are you dressed like this,” before quickly exiting the room.

In a series of tweets, Giuliani said the video “is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment.”

“At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar.”

In a promotional video on Twitter, ‘Borat’ mockingly defended Giuliani. “I here to defend America’s mayor Rudolph Giuliani,” Borat responds. “What was an innocent sexy time encounter with a consenting man and my 15-year-old daughter has been turned into something disgusting by fake news media.”

Sasha Baron Cohen is a comedian? Who knew? I have never found him to be even moderately amusing.

This clown is going to get the wrong person and find himself dead. Not everyone thinks he is funny. All it will take is putting someone in a compromising situation that feels that have nothing to lose and Borat will be a dead duck.

It always amazes me how the Fake Media has to reach out to Foreigners who have benefited from the openness of America to mock and disgrace it. The “Borat” actor is just another “sellout” who will be one of the first the Socialist Democrats put in the “re-education camps” if they gain power. And, if by chance they do, the Second Amendment will prove to be this Country’s means of saving itself!

Maybe I am just too old to understand how setting someone up to be embarrassed on tape is funny. Some day, someone will not think it is funny and retaliate. Most of the time it just shows how juvenile a person is.
