A coalition of NBA players and executives is now pushing the US Congress to adopt the radical new ‘Justice in Policing Act.’
As The Daily Wire reports:
A coalition of top NBA players and executives are throwing their clout behind the Democrat-backed George Floyd Justice in Policing Act.
The group, called the National Basketball Social Justice Coalition (NBSJC), released a statement Tuesday, which marked one year since the death of George Floyd, backing the police reform bill passed in a nearly party-line vote in March. Two Democrats, Reps. Jared Golden (ME) and Ron Kind (WI), joined Republicans in voting against the legislation.
The NBSJC statement says:
Today, as this painful anniversary approaches, we have an opportunity to honor the memory of Mr. Floyd and others who have been victims of police brutality in this country by passing the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act. Systemic problems demand systemic solutions. And, because police actions are governed by a diverse array of state laws and local policies, the Floyd Act takes unprecedented strides towards consistency—reforming at a federal level the practices that failed its namesake…
Of course, the statement didn’t mention the massive rise in crime that has effected many minority communities in the wake of the anti-police riots of the past year.

I used to be a diehard pro, college sports fan. Now I don’t watch any pro team. You get paid to entertain. You want to get involved in politics, become a candidate. I can’t discuss politics on my job, no one is supposed to but these people use their workplace as a soapbox. Wrong. I hope more fans stop watching, don’t buy tickets and the pro organizations lose more money.

who cares about the NBA? Not I. In almost every case when a person, black or white, refuses to follow directions from a police officer they put their life in jeopardy. Follow directions and respect police and you will live.
Resisting arrest, running, holding a gun or other weapon and a few others, can get you shot by a policieman, or woman. It’s really simple, don’t fight, don’t run, cooperate, don’t be stupid. But I guess that is a difficult for some people.

I used to be a sports junkie. I had Patriots season tickets and would go to as many Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics game as I could get tickets to. If I wasn’t at the game I was glued to the TV. Once they all went “woke” and embraced BLM, that was it for me. I cut the cord and dropped cable and haven’t watched or attended a game in a year. I thought I’d miss it, but it’s actually been easy. If these spoiled, pampered athletes think there’s a better country on earth to raise their families, don’t they owe it to themselves and the people they love to take their 10s of millions of dollars and move there?! I don’t see any of them talking with their feet holding a one-way ticket. They kiss China’s azz and gladly take millions from their slave labor, but let’s focus on how racist it is in the United States.

Its no wonder no one is watching basketball. My family no longer watch or attend pro or college games, and starting this year no little league. We’ve told our friends not to cry on our shoulders about anti police and Antifa/BLM matters if they continue to watch sports, and when they visit us no sports talk and no sports clothes. And when we visit the same or we will leave — period. The owners of sports team need to suffer so they will stop this BS. I understand the NBA and NFL suffered billion dollar loses last year and the NBA is on its way to big loses this year — great. Trade the NBA players to the CCP league since they like China so much. Then maybe they’ll see how the Chinese treat black people and other ethnic minorities in their country!

The next time the family of one of these “warriors” is threatened by a criminal, just put him on the phone to a law enforcement officer who will enroll him in a social justice program.
You know that every one of them have armed body guards, but they don’t think we should be able to defend ourselves against criminals.

They don’t care about you, and in most cases don’t understand how asinine their “protests” are; proven more blacks are killed by blacks in one month than in one year by police, and more whites are killed by police each year than blacks. And in almost every case when police kill a black he recently committed a crime. Do a little research and you will see this true. If I was a police officer in the area where they live I would have the address of the player and refuse to go there if they call for help, if I was ordered to go I would find a way to get there very slowly. Their actions show they don’t like police so why hurry to protect them.

No way can the league withstand such a decline in ratings (sales) and not have an enorous impact on players earnings? The NBA sucks. I quit watching it over 20 years ago. It’s not even entertaining anymore. Why do you think that their ratings are at an all-time low? When you have as your lead spokesperson lebrainless james, you have a bunch of ignorant morons who think they are scholars and policymakers…NOT!
