British Marvel actress Zara Phythian and her husband Victor Marke have been accused of grooming and repeatedly sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl.

Phythian, 36, who appeared in 2016’s “Doctor Strange” alongside fellow English actor Benedict Cumberbatch, and Marke, 59, were charged with 14 counts of sexual activity with a minor and have denied the allegations in court.

The now adult woman alleged that the sexual abuse took place between 2005 and 2008, from when she was 13 to 16-years-old. She said it began when Phythian plied her with alcohol and asked the girl if she wanted to play a game of “dare.”

The Notinghams Post reported that Phythian gave Marke oral sex and encouraged the victim to join in. Marke then had sex both of them, which the victim said happened 20 times over a three year period.

“I knew it was wrong but I just didn’t know how to get out of the situation or say anything,” she reported to authorities. “I remember trying to copy Zara’s reaction at the time because I looked up to her and tried to be like her in every way.”

She also said that Phythian and Marke filmed the sexual assaults in an attempt to recreate scenes from pornography.

Marke’s lawyer accused the victim of making the complaint after Phythian’s rise to professional success after filming “Doctor Strange,” but claimed she came forward after two safeguarding cases through her work triggered her, and she couldn’t handle “not saying anything anymore.”

The woman is allegedly not the first victim of Marke, an experienced martial arts instructor, who faces four more allegations from a different woman, who claimed he sexually assaulted her between 2002 and 2003, when she was 15-years-old. Marke has denied all charges against him.
