Country legend Dolly Parton reportedly had a hand in helping fund the research that led to biotech firm Moderna’s newly announced 94.5% effective Covid-19 vaccine.
In addition to having “cured the coronavirus” according to gushing fans, she has advice for how a divided America can heal during the holidays.

In a viral post, an eagle-eyed conservation scientist discovered that the Dolly Parton COVID-19 Research Fund was listed as one of the financial supporters of the vaccine in the New England Journal of Medicine’s preliminary report.

After discovering that her contribution had the internet buzzing, Parton humbly told Today Show hosts that she’s “just happy that anything I do can help somebody else.”

Heartstrings
While promoting her new Netflix series Heartstrings, Parton revealed she wrote her massive hit “Jolene” after her husband took a shine to a “pretty girl at the bank,” when he was trying to get a loan.
The actual name was inspired by a young fan that asked her for an autograph. “I said, ‘Ooh, I love that name.’ And so I just was singing, ‘Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene,’ so I wouldn’t forget the name.

Parton also revealed that she had to pull over her car when she heard Whitney Houston’s cover of “I Will Always Love You” for the Bodyguard soundtrack. “I was shot so full of adrenaline and energy, I had to pull off, because I was afraid that I would wreck, so I pulled over quick as I could to listen to that whole song.”
Holiday Healing
Parton revealed she is releasing “A Holly Dolly Christmas,” her first holiday album in 30 years, and has hopes that the season will help heal a fractured America.
“I think we’ve just become so divided, ’cause people just seem to love to hate. You know? This is the Christmas season coming up. But we need to carry that Christmas spirit of peace on Earth, and loving one another.”

As far as fixing the divided country. The time for fact research was BEFORE the election. To fix the division we need three things to happen: 1 the democrats have admitted they cheated. 2 The democrats need to admit that Donald Trump won the election. 3 The democrats ALL OF THEM need to agree to work with President Trump for the good of the United States. Donate ??? The average citizen can’t afford it now. And if Biden is named president and puts into effect his 6 week shutdown, reversal of Trump’s policies and tax increases as he promised, Dolly Parton may be the only one ABLE TO AFFORD to donate to anything.
