Don Lemon To Return Or Resign Tomorrow

CNN’s “CNN This Morning” host Don Lemon to return or resign following sexist remarks made about 2024 GOP Presidental candidate Nikki Haley.

Amid Don Lemon’s sexist comments during last week’s broadcast of “CNN This Morning,” female staffers at CNN have reportedly threatened to quit if Lemon returns to the network.

This comes following Thursday’s airing of “CNN This Morning,” when host Don Lemon said that 51-year-old 2024 GOP Presidental Candidate Nikki Haley is:

“…not in her prime.”

The comment came as a shock to many, as many found the comment to be both sexist and agest towards the 51-year-old Nikki Haley.

Many also noted that Lemon was a staunch Hillary Clinton supporter in 2016 – when at the time, Clinton was 69 years old, yet Lemon never made comments about Clinton being too old or “not in her prime.” Lemon has also steered clear of making comments on Biden’s advanced age, as he is now 80 years old, shows signs of obvious aging and no longer being as sharp as he once was.

Don Lemon had been benched by CNN following sexist remarks made on the Thursday airing, as he would;ld go on to not appear during the Monday broadcast of “CNN This Morning”. Lemon, formerly a top-rated prime-time show host who saw a rise to fame during the Trump presidency and BLM riot throughout 2020, did not appear on the Monday airing of his morning talk show.

Don Lemon Benched By CNN?

During CNN’s daily editorial meeting on Friday of last week, Lemon addressed his controversial sexist comments, as he was forced to apologize by the network to his colleagues for his comment. During the apology, Lemon said:

“I’m sorry that I said it… And I certainly see why people found it completely misguided.”

“When I make a mistake, I own it” Adding, “And I own this one as well.”

Is Don Lemon Getting Canceled?

However, this apology didn’t smooth everything over between Lemon and CNN, as the former prime-time host has been a point of controversy, as a person familiar with the matter told Confider:

“There are ongoing conversations about Don’s future… He is a constant distraction.”
