We’re tracking the conservative culture clash with woke Hollywood hypocrites to keep you up to date on who’s winning and who we hate.

Here’s what happened today:

Exempt

The NBA won’t mandate vaccines for players, but staff members of the team who work within 15 feet of players at game need to be inoculated by October 1, as will referees.

However, the entire roster of the New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets and Golden State Warriors, will have to get vaxxed due to local requirements in New York and San Francisco.

Though players are exempt from the requirement, those who have not been vaccinated will be subjected to more stringent rules. Protocols for the upcoming 2021-2022 season are still being negotiated between the league and the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA).

Current options reportedly being discussed are segregating the unvaccinated pro-ballers during travel and at meal times, and placing their lockers away from those who are immunized against COVID-19.

Players will report to training camp this month and the first regular season game is scheduled for October 19.

PR Stunt

The U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) offered the women’s soccer teams the same exact deal the men received, but the players association called contracts a “PR stunt.”

“USSF’s PR stunts and bargaining through the media will not bring us any closer to a fair agreement,” the United States Women’s National Team Players Association said on Twitter. “In contrast, we are committed to bargaining in good faith to achieve equal pay and the safest working conditions possible. The proposal that USSF made recently to us does neither.”

The deal will focus on a “single pay structure” that would allow the women’s and men’s teams to share revenue. The USSF challenged each gender’s players associations to figure out a way to “equalize” FIFA World Cup prize money between the two teams.

The men’s tournament offers teams $440 million, while the women’s team only split a $60 million pot. “Until FIFA equalizes the prize money that it awards to the men’s and women’s World Cup participants, it is incumbent upon us to collectively find a solution,” USSF President Cindy Parlow Cone wrote last week.

Flagged

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy was flagged py Twitter for criticizing Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for wearing a dress that read “Tax the Rich” to New York City’s glamorous Met Gala on Monday.

Portnoy wrote “‘Tax the Rich’……But first I’m gonna go have the time of my life partying with them all at the most extravagant over the top party of the year that is essentially a celebration of richness.”

Twitter flagged the post for containing “information could mislead people,” and removed the tweet from searches.

Portnoy shared a screenshot of the flag post with the caption, “why?” One follower was quick to provide an answer.

“Independent Fact Checkers at Snope (sic) state that the party is ‘actually not the most extravagant over the top party of the year’ per data compiled by party experts,” they replied.

Supporter

Former “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson publicly stood up for rapper Nicki Minaj, following #BallGate, her anti-vaxxer Met Gala controversy.

“I support & echo @NICKIMINAJ’s intelligent advice to use prayer, critical thinking not be bullied into making a very important decision about your body & personal health,” Jackson tweeted Wednesday.

“It’s a sad day in America when we are censored, cancelled & ridiculed for exercising our God-given freedoms,” he added.

RIP

“Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” star, Jane Powell, died peacefully in her Wilton, Connecticut home at the age of 92 on Thursday.

Powell gained notoriety in Hollywood’s Golden Age acting in MGM musicals in the 1940’s, then going on to star in 1951’s “Royal Wedding” beside Fred Astaire, along with “Deep in My Heart” and “Hit the Deck.”

She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960, led the Broadway production “Irene” in 1973, and eventually recurred on “Growing Pains” as Alan Thicke’s mother.

Final Jeopardy

“The Big Bang Theory” actress Mayim Bialik and “Jeopardy!” champ Ken Jennings will take over the quiz show’s hosting duties for the rest of the season following controversial pick Mike Richards’ exit.

Bialik will host all episodes between Sept. 20 to Nov. 5, with Jennings periodically stepping throughout November and December. The search for a permanent host will continue, but no other guest stars are slated to appear.

Jagged

Singer Alanis Morissete is upset that her bombshell sexual abuse allegations made the final cut of the documentary about her life, “Jagged,” and she has refused to participate in any press for the film.

“I agreed to participate in a piece about the celebration of ‘Jagged Little Pill’’s 25th anniversary, and was interviewed during a very vulnerable time (while in the midst of my third postpartum depression during lockdown),” she said prior to the movie’s Toronto International Film Festival debut.

“I was lulled into a false sense of security and their salacious agenda became apparent immediately upon my seeing the first cut of the film. This is when I knew our visions were in fact painfully diverged. This was not the story I agreed to tell,” she continued. I ultimately won’t be supporting someone else’s reductive take on a story much too nuanced for them to ever grasp or tell.”

The “You Outta Know” singer is protesting the inclusion of an interview where claimed music industry professionals sexually abused her at the age of 15.

“Something about me being 15 — that’s when I really started to be hit on,” she recalled. “Twelve, they were a little scared. Thirteen they were a little scared, but they’d still, you know. Fourteen less scary, but still scary. Fifteen, all bets were off. Somehow that seemed like a safer number for people.”

“I just thought it was my fault, because almost every single person that I would work with, there would be some turning point where the camera would go Dutch angle,” she said in reference to a disorienting camera technique. “And I would just wait for it… It would either end the relationship, or there would be some big secret that we’d keep forever.”
