Spotify podcaster Joe Rogan confirmed that he didn’t vote for Democrat Joe Biden in 2020, but didn’t cast a ballot for former president Donald Trump either.

“That was one of the things that people were saying that I was a Trump supporter during the election because I said I would vote for Trump before I would vote for Biden,” he said on Monday’s broadcast of The Joe Rogan Experience. “But I didn’t vote for either.”

Rogan told his guest Coleman Hughes that Biden isn’t a good example of a president that has political experience, because “he’s basically a shell” cognitively. “The reason why I said that was like, ‘You don’t see this? Are you guys out of your f–king mind?”

“You guys don’t see that this guy can’t, he can’t talk right anymore?’ Go watch videos of him from twenty years ago,” Rogan went on. “He was a dummy, he said a lot of silly s–t, he lied about a bunch of things, but at least he was articulate.”

The podcast host brought up a Politico report that quoted former president Barack Obama saying, “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f–k things up,” during the 2020 election.

“That’s what he [Biden] did. He would lie about his experience, he would lie about his background and education, he would lie about his record,” Rogan continued.

Hughes noted that Biden has previously lied about graduating in the top of his class, having multiple degrees, and marching with Nelson Mandela. Rogan pointed out that Biden even “lied about his arrests recently.”

Rogan recalled how a comedy club he used to perform at held Joe Biden nights, where comedians would perform each other’s acts, “because Biden got busted plagiarizing other politicians speeches” during his 1988 presidential run.

He said the campaign was “derailed” when Biden was “caught quoting” other politicians’ speeches “verbatim.” Though he noted that the future president blamed his speech writer, but “it created such a scandal” that Joe Biden night was born at the comedy club.

“I think he just always wanted people to think highly of himself,” Rogan assessed.
