Former “19 Kids and Counting” star Josh Duggar was sentenced to more than 12 years in prison for child pornography charges on Wednesday.

Duggar, 34, was sentenced to 151 months, ordered to pay $50,100 in fines, and submit to 20 years of parole supervision after he serves the lengthy sentence. His wife, Anna, and reality star father, Jim Bob, were present when the former used car salesman learned his fate.

Anna asked presiding federal judge Timothy L. Brooks, to “consider reuniting us as a family again soon,” in an impassioned March 7 letter that described him as “a kind, loving, supportive and caring father” to their seven children, for whom he is the sole provider.

She remained by his side in 2015, when he was accused of molesting several of his sisters in 2002, and was later exposed for cheating on her during the Ashley Madison hack.

“While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction, and I became unfaithful to my wife,” he admitted at the time.

During the sentencing, Brooks called sex offenders who target children “the sickest of the sick,” and described the child sexual abuse material Duggar was consuming “horrific and sick.” In May, a Homeland Security agent testified that the video torrent files found on his computer involved minor children as young as 18 months.

Josh’s cousin, Amy Duggar, wasn’t thrilled by the length of his sentence. “Twelve and a half years isn’t enough, but I hope that every single second he’s there feels like an eternity,” she said on Wednesday.

“I knew him getting the maximum sentence wasn’t going to be the easiest to prove since it’s his first offense in the judge’s eyes — which I hate — but at the same time, he cannot have his computer, he cannot hurt, exploit any more children and when he sees his kids, he has to be supervised,” Amy shared on Instagram. “And honestly, where he’s going, I feel like the prisoners are just gonna take care of him.”
