Presidential Candidate Kanye West accused Planned Parenthood of killing black people “strategically and on purpose” for the last fifty years.
In a revealing interview on the podcast “Cannon’s Class,” West told host Nick Cannon that abortion is black genocide and it’s happening every day. “Planned Parenthood was set up and placed in minority communities to kill black people.”
He noted that its founder Margaret Sanger was a known white supremacist and had a goal to reduce the black population of the United States. “In 50 years, there’s been 22 million – over 22,500,000 – of black people aborted strategically and on purpose.”
While Cannon, who has been a critic of Planned Parenthood, posited that supporters of the organization would claim it has grown beyond its shameful roots to become a positive force in the United States.
West countered with statistics, “80% of abortion clinics in America are in minority neighborhoods,” he began. “Over 1000 black babies are aborted every day.”
Cannon replied. “This is genocide.”
West cited a CDC fact that “abortion kills more black people than HIV, homicide, diabetes, accidents, cancer, and heart disease — watch this one — combined.”
He went on to associate the origin of his political party name to his pro-life stance. “The connection point to the Birthday Party is dealing with life and pro-life, because these are kids that now are gonna get a chance to have birthdays.”
West also discussed his South Carolina Presidential rally, where he broke down in tears when discussing his initial desire for wife Kim Kardashian to have an abortion when she became pregnant with their first child, North West.
“Because of South Carolina, there are people who have decided to have the child because they connected. And if they were on the fence about it, they never saw anyone in my position take that position and say, ‘Look at this! This is a seven-year-old right here, and she… she might have never made it here.'”
