“Saturday Night Live” Trump impersonator Alec Baldwin came back to Twitter to voice his opinion on New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s latest scandal.
NY State Assemblyman Ron Kim and eight other state assembly democrats accused Cuomo of obstruction of justice and “intentional criminal wrongdoing” in a letter last week, over the governor’s hand in withholding COVID-19 mortality numbers in nursing homes from state lawmakers.
Following the letter, Kim alleges that Cuomo and his staff called him nine times in an attempt to get him to walk back accusations against the governor. When Cuomo finally reached Kim, “for 10 minutes he berated me, he yelled at me, he told me that my career would be over, he’s been biting his tongue for months against me, and I had tonight — not tomorrow — tonight to issue a new statement, essentially asking me to lie.”
Liberal New Yorker Baldwin, took to Twitter on Thursday after a month-long hiatus following wife Hilaria’s heritage scandal, to call out the governor. “If Cuomo threatened Ron Kim’s career, Cuomo should resign,” he posted.
Cuomo’s office released a rebuttal denying the threats. “At no time did anyone threaten to ‘destroy’ anyone with their ‘wrath’ nor engage in a ‘coverup,’” the statement said. “That’s beyond the pale and is unfortunately part of a years-long pattern of lies by Mr. Kim against this administration.”
Kim fired back at Cuomo’s allegations. “When we get closer to the truth behind the growing nursing home scandal in New York, Gov. Cuomo tries to implicate you in the cover-up or threatens your livelihood if you don’t lie for him,” he remarked.
“The truth is this: Governor Cuomo allowed his top donors to write business-friendly policies, like legal immunity for nursing homes,” Kim continued. “And he ordered the state government to cover life-and-death information and took away our ability to legislate and change the outcomes of this pandemic.”

Governor Cuomo sent nursing home residence back to nursing home if they tested positive and were a-symptomatic leading to the future infection of thousands that would have never been expose if he had quarantine them on the Hospital ship or the conversion center, both went unused!

Baldwin watched Cuomo in action for the past 12 months and only now does he see a problem??? That is the problem with the left, even after witnessing horrendous results their ideology prevents them from seeing reality.

Cuomo should resign, he should go to jail and kick his ass out of any office (forever). The man KILLED over 10,000 people (that’s not a small number). He knew exactly what he was doing. Trump gave him the ship (with beds) the center (with hundreds of beds) and Cuomo did use them., He KILLED those people and was nice enough to take his old lady mother out of the nursing home, only to let thousands die. China did this with their elderly, guess how much money Cuomo saved with not paying for the healthcare of those 10,000+ social security etc.. If you think this was a oversight or mistake, I’d say follow the money trail.. NY is hemorrhaging money due to this man’s outright arrogance and mismanagement, just like every dem city. it worked so well, several other states did the same? More Governor’s jobs should be on the chopping block than just this dunce!
I had a huge argument with my liberal friends 11 months ago about how Cuomo was on the television everyday feeding his ego hearing himself talk earning his Emmy ?and now Alec speaks up?? Seriously SMH Hollywood makes me sick always late to any reality ?
