‘Qanon Shaman’ Jacob Chansley has now been sentenced to 41 months incarceration in a federal prison due to his role in the January 6th riot inside the US Capitol.

As The New York Post reports:

Jacob Chansley, 34, of Phoenix — who had pleaded guilty to one count of obstruction — was given the sentence by District of Columbia Judge Royce Lamberth, according to CBS News. He will also be placed on probation for three years after his release.

Chansley, a former actor and a Navy veteran, became a poster boy for the riot after wild photos of him shirtless, clutching a spear and sitting in the Senate president’s chair were widely circulated.

Three days after the building breach, he was hit with charges including civil disorder, violent entry and disorderly conduct — and had previously faced up to 28 years behind bars.

After he copped to one obstruction charge in September, prosecutors asked that he be locked up for 51 months, the longest-requested sentence linked to the riot to date.

Since his arrest, Chansley has since renounced his support for former President Donald Trump.
