Former rapper-turned-movie star Ice Cube was not impressed with the parade of Hollywood star power and sanctimonious speeches at last week’s Democratic national convention.
In a video he tweeted out Saturday, the question Cube posed to the party, is “what’s in it for us?” Specifically citing a sorely lacking plan to address the issues the black community is currently facing. “The way it looks, they don’t have a plan.”
He criticized the democratic party for a continuous rhetoric of “get Trump out,” during all four days of the convention. Speakers ranging from politicians to celebrities repetitively hammered a message to supporters that they must vote to avoid the outcome of the 2016 election.
Cube seemed disgusted that the public was “really eating” up the remarks, which were devoid of any actual substance. “If you vote, that’s going to happen on the first day. So now what? Trump out. Now what? What do we get in the first hundred days?”
He cited the $3 trillion-dollar bailout as a massive failure for the economy. “That’s American taxpayer money,” he stated. “And they gave it to their friends.” Money that should have gone to aid struggling businesses, specifying that 42% of Black owned businesses in the nation were shutting down. “Where’s the bailout, not the PPE loan that they didn’t give us? Where’s the bailout?”
Ice Cube cautioned that the public is “really eating” up the Democrat’s party line and has challenged Americans to make politicians work for their votes. “They can start today. Make their a** earn that vote, man.”

Ice cube is right. I’m white and don’t care for RAP music, but I always wondered what Black people see in the Dumbocrat party because they offer everything and deliver none. They only care when it’s election year and forget about YOU the other three years.Black people please wake up think for yourselves and get a life. Well, he was telling it like it is. Trouble with Democrats is they don’t WANT to know the truth, and they don’t like facing themselves in the mirror. They’d rather throw blame where it isn’t warranted rather than acknowledge their socialist plans could never solve our nation’s problems. They don’t like the fact that Trump is doing a good job. They don’t like the fact that their only presidential hopeful is an addled, sleazy geezer that can’t even form complete sentences or answer a simple question. They’ve already lost, and it irks them to no end, so all they have is a lot of baseless fabrications and mud slinging to try and bring Trump down. Thank God he’s NOT a spineless wimp, who will bow to their demands or take money under the table for special interest groups. I think that’s what they hate about him the most.
I think Ice Cube is on to something, the only thing the DNC is selling is the the lies and hate that the hard left is promoting.

Thats what I got out of his statement too. Cube still thinks Trump is not the best President our nation has ever had especially in times like these. Cube is right that the Dems offer nothing but hate and division but he too suffers from TDS. (Trump derangement syndrome). Its “Cool” to hate Trump if you are not a true American and so very few leftists will ever open their eyes to ANY truth.

If you want to see the federal government do something for the Black community just vote for Trump and all the other Republicans running for office. That way you won’t have any concerns about “What’s in it for us?”

If everyone of all colors, races, political affiliations and religions would pull their heads out of their third point of contact and actually listen to what is being said and what has been said for the last four years. Then they might understand that the ONLY thing the democrats want and have wanted is Trump out of office. They have done absolutely nothing to improve anything about this country. Nor will they. Ever. They want total and absolute control. As for the groups that are doing their bidding now, what do you think is going to happen to them when their usefulness is at an end? They will be squashed like a bug. Killed or thrown in jail no matter who they are or what they represent. Ice Cube is absolutely correct, make them earn any vote they get.
