We’re tracking the conservative culture clash with woke Hollywood hypocrites to keep you up to date on who’s winning and who we hate.

 Here’s what happened today:

Marvelously Cancelled

Marvel director James Gunn was fired from “Guardians of the Galaxy” by Disney in 2018, after Twitter users found old tweets joking about pedophilia and rape. Though he was one of the original victims of cancel culture, he still defends the woke ideology.

“For a day, it seemed like everything was gone. Everything was gone,” Gunn said of the experience. “I was going to have to sell my house. I was never going to be able to work again. That’s what it felt like.”

He likens cancel culture to accountability and says serial sexual predators like disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein are the people who should stay canceled. Gunn himself was rehired by Disney a year later and went on to direct DC’s upcoming “Suicide Squad.”

“Cancel culture also is people like Harvey Weinstein, who should be canceled,” Gunn remarked. “People who have gotten canceled and then remain canceled – most of those people deserved that. The paparazzi are not just the people on the streets – they’re the people combing Twitter for any past sins. All of that sucks. It’s painful. But some of it is accountability. And that part of it is good. It’s just about finding that balance.”

Indicted

“Law & Order: SVU” actor Isaiah Stokes, who has also appeared in “Blue Bloods” and “The Americans,” was indicted for murder by a New York grand jury last week.

Stokes is accused of murder in the second degree and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, which carries a 25 yeas to life in prison sentence, for the shooting of Tyrone Jones while he was sitting in his car in Jamaica, Queens, in February.

Surveillance footage caught Stokes approaching the driver-side window of a white Jeep Grand Cherokee and unloading several rounds into the car.

Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said the actor “is accused of unloading nearly eleven shots during this brazen afternoon shooting.”

“Gun violence is all too prevalent in our neighborhoods. We will not allow it to become the norm,” she concluded.

Fauci Cringing

The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Phoenix Suns in game six of the NBA finals on Tuesday, and 65,000 fans watched the team win their first NBA Championship since 1971 in the “Deer District” outside of the stadium.

When ESPN panned across the crowd amassed outside, announcer Jeff Van Gundy snarked that “Dr. Fauci is cringing at home as he’s watching our game.”

Social Media Censorship

Facebook censors repeatedly flagged a New York gardening group for discussing “hoes,” mistaking the digging tool for the term “ho,” which is disparaging to women.

The WNY Gardeners group, which has 7,500 members, was called out for “violating community standards” when they were talking about their preferred weeding tools. When one member commented “Push-pull hoe,” a Facebook moderator sent a message that read, “We reviewed this comment and found it goes against our standards for harassment and bullying.”

“And so I contacted Facebook, which was useless. How do you do that?,” member Elizabeth Licata said. “You know, I said this is a gardening group, a hoe is a gardening tool.”

Though Facebook never responded to her, the company said the monitoring error had been corrected in a statement, but Licata claimed that a follow-up post had also been automatically disabled for “possible violence, incitement, or hate in multiple comments.”

Walking Away

Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers reportedly turned down a two-year contract extension that would have made him the highest-paid quarterback in the league.

Rodgers is allegedly upset with his treatment by team management.  “It’s not about football. It’s not just about the money, it certainly isn’t about football,” ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith commented on Tuesday. “The Green Bay Packers were 13-3 in back-to-back years under Matt LaFleur as the head coach. They went to back-to-back NFC Championship Games which means they were part of the final four for two consecutive years … This is not about football.

“This is about the way the Green Bay Packers have treated their star player,” he pointed out.
“They have disregarded him, they’ve dismissed him, they have minimized him, they’ve disrespected him.”

Tell Daddy

Country star Billy Ray Cyrus’ daughter tried to scandalize him on Twitter, when she posted a photo of herself kneeling on the hood of his Nissan truck while wearing a t-shirt emblazoned “Miley Cyrus made me realize I’m gay,” and “I (heart) d**k.”

“IDK what (Billy Ray Cyrus) is gonna be more pi**ed about! Me making a shirt that says “I (heart) d**k” or crawling all over his truck in my (Gucci) heels!” she brazenly wrote, encouraging her followers to their own “daddy’s” to cough up $35 to buy the shirt from her store.

Praise From Across The Pond

British rapper Zuby gave props to the United States for our constitutional right to bear arms in a Twitter thread on Wednesday.

“Many Western countries are evolving into authoritarian regimes in real-time,” he wrote. “But people are so convinced by the illusions of ‘freedom’ and ‘democracy’ that they outright refuse to admit what’s happening.”

“Europe alone has seen the rise of multiple authoritarian regimes over the past few centuries,” Zuby continued. “It is arrogant and foolish to assume history is ‘over’ or ‘that can’t happen here’. It absolutely can. Human nature has not changed. Have a Plan B if you value liberty. Real talk.”

He accused the United Kingdom and all of Europe of being “reliant on the benevolence (or wickedness)” of their country’s leadership.

“The ONLY country in the West that is largely protected against totalitarianism is the USA,” he went on. “Over the next few years, I predict a significant movement of capable people from urban to rural, and from ‘1st world’ countries to ‘2nd and 3rd world’ countries. The veil has fallen. Bitter pill to swallow, but here we are.”

Flying In Drag

An Indonesian man was arrested after impersonating his wife on a flight in the country. The man, who was infected with COVID-19, dressed in women’s clothes and a niqab face covering to disguise that he was male, and showed officials his wife’s identification and negative test results at boarding.

The man’s ruse was discovered when a flight attendant saw him enter a lavatory dressed as a woman and come out in men’s clothing. The man was taken into custody by authorities, then driven by ambulance to his home, where he was forced to self-isolate. Local police will press charges after his quarantine period is completed.

In short – Facebook are idiots if they censor over a garden tool – clueless and just dumb. Aaron Rodgers is a drama queen. Did they hurt hims’ feelings – poor baby. Miley Cyrus is just a walking train wreck trying in desperation to stay relevant. I think society is just a mess right now!
