Trump Resigns from the Screen Actor’s Guild After Threat of Expulsion: “Who Cares!”

Former President Donald Trump resigned from The Screen Actors Guild after they threatened to boot him from the union after the board voted “overwhelmingly” that he was in violation of membership guidelines after the Capitol riot.

SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris, of former Beverly Hills, 90210 fame, signaled the guild’s distaste for Trump in January. “Donald Trump attacked the values that this union holds most sacred – democracy, truth, respect for our fellow Americans of all races and faiths, and the sanctity of the free press,” she commented. “There’s a straight line from his wanton disregard for the truth to the attacks on journalists perpetrated by his followers.”

After learning of the board vote, Trump sent in his letter of resignation to Carteris. “I write to you today regarding the so-called Disciplinary Committee hearing aimed at revoking my union membership. Who cares!”

“While I’m not familiar with your work, I’m very proud of my work on movies such as Home Alone 2, Zoolander and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps; and television shows including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Saturday Night Live, and of course, one of the most successful shows in television history, The Apprentice—to name just a few!” Trump jabbed

He outlined his own contribution to the cable new industry, which was “(said to be a dying platform with not much time left until I got involved in politics), and created thousands of jobs at networks such as MSDNC and Fake News CNN, among many others.”

Then slammed SAG-AFTRA, “Your organization has done little for its members, and nothing for me—besides collecting dues and promoting dangerous un-American policies and ideas—as evident by your massive unemployment rates and lawsuits from celebrated actors, who even recorded a video asking, ‘Why isn’t the union fighting for me?’”

Trump blasted the guild for “policy failures,” and cited their “disciplinary failures are even more egregious.”

“I no longer wish to be associated with your union. As such, this letter is to inform you of my immediate resigning from SAG-AFTRA,” he concluded with flourish. “You have done nothing for me.”

Why wouldn’t he? Hollywood hates Trump as vehemently as conservatives hate Hollywood. Many will never visit a theater again because most movies are littered with leftist propaganda. Often, it’s virtually undiscernible. Occasionally, it’s vile and obvious. Not worth the time and certainly not worth money.

So glad Pres. Trump resigned from that worthless organization filled with pompous airheads; he is so far ahead of them in every aspect.
A man who has really done something, not just read a script and acted a part. Go Trump!!!!!
