Former Charmed actress Rose McGowan sustained a damaging injury while checking results from the 2020 elections.
McGowan posted a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed with a cast on her left forearm to Instagram on Thursday with the caption: “Reading US election results while on the stairs = bone break.”
The actress ended up in a Mexican hospital after suffering the fall while abroad, and took the time to point out the cost disparity between emergency medical services in the foreign country versus at her home in California. “It cost $250 in Mexico for my emergency room visit, compared to a likely 10k hospital bill in California for the same accident,” she wrote.
McGowan called out the pharmaceutical industry with the hashtag #bigpharma as she concluded, “USA is not the land of the free, it’s the land of the overcharged.”

The actress has been a vocal detractor of the “cult of Democrats” posting that her mother was in “so deep” that she would no longer speak to her politically outspoken daughter.
McGowan is so actively conservative on social media, she claims that she was suppressed by Twitter and her account was deactivated on Facebook, just hours after she announced she would be posting a live response after the second debate. “I’ve been a victim of conspiracies before this one smells like Dems,” she wrote.
The actress released a video on Twitter encouraging her followers to “go with the game changers” on Election Day. “Action is the most important thing.”
