We’re tracking the conservative culture clash with woke Hollywood hypocrites to keep you up to date on who’s winning and who we hate.

Here’s what happened today:

Forced

Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill told reporters he did not want to get the COVID-19 shot, but the NFL “forced my hand.”

“I’m currently in the [vaccination] process right now,” he detailed. “The NFL has kind of made it clear what they want to happen, and if you don’t fall in line, they’re gonna try to make your life kinda miserable with all the protocols.”

In the league’s latest vaccination push, a lengthy memo was issued last week announcing potential penalties for unvaccinated players and their teams, which could include forfeiture of their pay and games.

“I wouldn’t have gotten the vaccine without the protocols that they’re enforcing on us. I think it’s a personal decision for everyone,” Tannehill continued. “Everyone has to make the best decision for them and their families. That’s kind of our mindset in this building. But they’re trying to force your hand, and they ultimately have forced a lot of hands by the protocols.”

When a reporter asked him if his mind was put at ease after getting the jab, he replied, “Not really.”

Woke Muppet Madness

Children’s show “Muppet Babies” has reintroduced the male character Gonzo as a transgender princess in a recent storyline. In the episode, Miss Piggy says she met an “amazing” princess at a royal ball, using “they” pronouns to refer to the princess, who left behind a glass slipper.

Historically male Gonzo takes the slipper and transforms into the princess. Self-minted “Gonzorella” tells the other Muppets that he was too afraid to tell them of the transition, because they “expected [Gonzo] to look a certain way,” and didn’t want them to be upset.

Dirty Details

A massage therapist who has alleged that embattled Houston Texans quarterback Desshaun Watson behaved inappropriately during multiple sessions detailed his requests during an interview.

Nia Lewis said that Watson, who faces more than 20 accusations of sexual assault and misconduct from different women, requested she massage the “inside of his butt.”

During his second appointment, she said he grabbed her multiple times, requested that she only massage his buttocks and groin areas, and repeatedly asked her if she wanted to put his penis in her mouth.

Weight Loss

Laurel Hubbard, a transgender weightlifter from New Zealand, was knocked out of Olympic contention early in the women’s 87+ kg event for failing to complete her first three lift attempts.

Hubbard has made recent headlines for becoming the first transgender athlete to compete at the Games but was the only participant out of thirteen finalists to fail to complete a single lift.

“I know my participation in these games has not been entirely without controversy,” Hubbard told reporters after the event. “[The IOC has] been extraordinarily supportive and I think that they have reaffirmed the principles of the Olympics that sport is something that all people around the world can do, that it is inclusive and successful.”

Relatable

Dolly Parton said she could relate to Britney Spear’s legal woes when TV host Andy Cohen asked her about the #FreeBritney movement.

“Well, I try to not get involved in other people’s business. I think she is a wonderful artist and I think she’s a wonderful girl,” Parton remarked. “I only wish her the best.”

“I understand all those crazy things,I went through a lot of that myself – through a big lawsuit in my early days with Porter Wagoner trying to get out on my own,” she continued.  “I hope that all turns out the way that it should.”

The “Jolene” singer was part of a musical duo with Porter Wagoner in the 1970s before transitioning to a solo career, and Wagoner slapped her with a $3 million lawsuit fro breach of contract when she left the group.

Wagoner wanted a significant portion of Parton’s earnings in the years that followed her exit, and Parton admitted it cost her at least $1 million to settle with him.

Nepotism

Comedian Ben Stiller was blasted on social media for downplaying the alleged favoritism in Hollywood after he defended a film project helmed by several kids of Hollywood heavyweights.

The film in question, “The Rightway” is directed by Steven Spielberg’s daughter, written by Stephen King’s son, and star’s Sean Penn’s son.

When producer Franklin Leonard tweeted “Hollywood’s a meritocracy, right,” about the film’s lineup, Stiller, who is the son of two actors, came to the defense of the film’s creators.

“Just speaking from experience, and I don’t know any of them, I would bet they all have faced challenges,” the “Zoolander” star tweeted. “Different than those with no access to the industry. Show biz as we all know is pretty rough, and ultimately is a meritocracy.”

“I simply reject the claim that the industry is – in the short term or long term – a meritocracy. If it were, how do you explain the utter lack of diversity behind the camera? Lack of merit?” Leonard shot back.

Social media seemed to agree with him. “Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara’s son would like you to know that Hollywood ‘ultimately is a meritocracy.’” a replier wrote. “WRONG. Show business works off nepotism & access. It has NOTHING to do with merit,” another added.

Legal Victory

Johnny Depp scored a win in his court battle against ex-wife Amber Heard, when the judge ordered the American Civil Liberties Union to release documents to confirm if she donated any of her $7 million divorce settlement, after claiming she would give all the money to charity.

The “Pirates of Caribbean” star’s lawyers contend that Heard’s pledge to the ACLU was a “calculated and manipulative lie” that could be responsible for causing the loss of his 2020 British tabloid lawsuit because the statement “tipped the scales against Mr. Depp from the very beginning.”

Depp lost his case against the UK newspaper he sued for a headline that deemed him a “wife-beater,” when the court ruled the statement was “substantially true.”

RIP

TikTok star Anthony Barajas, 19, who was shot in an unprovoked attack at a California movie theater last week, died from his wounds on Saturday.

Barajas was on a first date to see “The Forever Purge” with the other shooting victim Rylee Goodrich, 18, who died on scene.

Twenty-year-old Joseph Jimenez is being held on $2 million bail in Riverside County for their murders.

Popular Danish Youtuber Albert Dyrlund, died at the age of 22 after plummeting hundreds of feet in the Italian Alps while filming a video.
